Differences are what colour this world. If we can look at the rainbow and wonder in awe at the colours that make it so beautiful, why wouldn’t we want to look at the uniqueness that make each human being as being different and beautiful?
Yes those who are on the autism spectrum think and respond differently. And what I have realised is that most of those on the spectrum understand the neurotypical much better than the other way around!
If we truly respect, we wouldn’t have to have an Autism awareness day. We have to start including the differences and only then will we be a society rich in colours …just like the rainbow .
